About Us
Inspiring and Serving East Tennessee
Nestled along Hamblen County’s largest creek, Bent Creek, Southerland Family Farm was founded in 2017 with a single purpose: to serve our East Tennessee community by raising exceptional Black Angus beef, offering meaningful agritourism experiences, and creating a place where people feel rooted and inspired.
As a veteran-owned and family-operated farm, we bring the same sense of duty, pride and community service that guided our service into everything we do. We believe that farming isn’t just about cattle or pastures — it’s about people, place and purpose. In every steak we sell, every dinner we host on the farm, every wedding we frame by the creek — our goal is to honor our heritage and uplift our neighbors.
We’re proud to be active members of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce and committed supporters of the Whitesburg community and Whitesburg Elementary School. Our farm stands for more than quality beef — it stands for connection, community stewardship, experience and memories.
Our promise is simple: when you visit Southerland Family Farm, you’re not just a customer — you become part of our Family. From farm-to-table dinners to birthday parties under open skies, we want every person who walks our land to leave feeling inspired, valued and part of something bigger.
Our Story
We started our journey in 2017 with a desire and mission from our veteran owner, Charles. With the goal and desire to create an environment that harbors and honors the heritage of the Southern Appalachian living, we have built, expanded, and grown into one of the top agritourism farms of East Tennessee.
